Enterprise License for Notes 8 User Training


In order to maximize the economy and flexibility of conducting instructor-led, self-study, or on-line training by large organizations, wareSource offers an Enterprise License for its Lotus Notes 8 user training courses.

The courseware purchased under an Enterprise License may be used to deliver, via printed or electronic means, course content or any derivation to any employee within a legal corporate entity or other organization boundary as defined below.

Terms

• "Enterprise". How your "enterprise" is defined is negotiated at the time of purchase. In general, all employees and contractors of a single corporate entity, organization (e.g. nonprofit or university/college campus), or government agency/department, is defined as a single enterprise, regardless of number of users or locations. Enterprise Licenses purchased by subsidiaries are not valid in other subsidiaries of the parent company. For organizations that are then merged or purchased by other organizations, the Enterprise License held by the originally licensed organization is only valid for its original employees.
• Delivery mode. Enterprise Licenses allow delivery via print or electronic means (e.g. conduct Web-based training or post material on an intranet). Enterprise Licenses allow you to re-purpose the material (e.g. create CBTs or customize/combine courses to create new courses). The wareSource copyright, e.g. ©2008 wareSource, must appear once on the inside cover or introductory screen of all material, whether printed or displayed on screen. Please see our Copyright Restrictions.
• File format. Materials are available as Acrobat PDFs for easy printing and as source files (MS Word or PowerPoint) for customization.
• Limitations on use. Courses may be installed on any computer owned or used exclusively by the organization, printed, or otherwise delivered, but may not be made available to anyone other than to employees or contractors of the organization. Courses or derivative products cannot be resold/licensed or used in any commercial purpose in any way other than training the employees and contractors of the organization on the use of their own systems. (Please contact us if you want to base a commercial product on our content.)
• Courses. Enterprise Licenses are available only for the courses listed below.
• No annual license fee. An Enterprise License is valid for the major version of Notes/Domino it covers. The version license fee includes free upgrades to all point releases for a major version, regardless of the length of time the course is used.
• Ownership. wareSource retains the copyright to all our course content and its existence in any derivative works. You own the copyright to any original content that you add to the materials. Please see our Copyright Restrictions.
• Nonexclusive. None of the Enterprise Licenses are issued on an exclusive basis; wareSource has the right to license the courses to any number of legal corporate entities or other organizations.
• Incremental Purchase. Enterprise Licenses can be purchased incrementally on a per-user basis. This means that if you have made purchases of per-user licenses, the cost of those licenses will be applied to the cost of the corresponding course Enterprise License.
• Subject to change. All license agreement terms are subject to change, however, the terms in force at the time of purchase will be honored.
• Courseware License Agreement. Please see our general license agreement for courseware, which also applies to Enterprise Licenses.
• Effective date. This license agreement is effective March 1, 2008 and applies only to the courses listed below.
• Existing 5.x, 6.x, and 7.x site license holders are not affected by this new agreement.
• Prices. All prices are shown in US Dollars.

The Enterprise License also includes:

• all prior versions of the courses listed above to support multi-version environments
• completely customizable files (MS Word, PowerPoint) as well as ready-to-print PDF files.

Enterprise License Price

$40,000.00 for all courses listed above.

Should you purchase an Enterprise License?

The Enterprise License is intended for large companies and organizations that have many users of more than one Lotus product.

Keep these things in mind before considering an Enterprise License:

• Because of our new volume pricing, the price per copy of a particular course goes down when you reach volume levels.
• Individual per-user licenses are not transferable to other users, so an Enterprise License frees you from having to purchase additional per-user licenses.
• You can customize our courses, even if you don't buy an Enterprise License.
• You can create custom courses from any topic from any course we offer. We'll figure out a per-topic/per-user price and then compute the new per-copy (at your volume level) or Enterprise License cost of your custom course.
